Kvaerner will issue new shares to secure short-term liquidity

Article Abstract:

Kvaerner A.S. will make a 1.5 billion Norwegian kroner to two billion kroner (187.8 million to 250.4 million euros) share issue in order to secure short-term financing. The move caused the firm's share value to drop by 65%.
