Luxury goods retailer LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton S.A. is currently in exclusive negotiations with Pearson PLC to purchase France's financial daily Les Echos. Another financial daily, La Tribune, is already owned by LVMH. The Les Echos deal would be valued at approximately $299 mil.
