Land ahoy!

Article Abstract:

An analysis of Bangkok Land's initial public offering and its activities indicates that the company's securities are not advisable long-term investments. Although Bangkok Land's listing in the Thailand Stock Exchange has caused the share prices to increase from 90 baht to 181 baht in three days, analysts forecast that it will slump after a few months. Claims the company made about having sold 80% of its real estate developments and the accounting method recording sales long before receiving payment, must be viewed with apprehension and taken into consideration before deciding to invest in the company.
