London call: Are LSE's shares undervalued?

The London Stock Exchange PLC of the United Kingdom has received an offer of acquisition from The Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. of the United States for $4.2 billion. Since the overture, shares on the London Stock Exchange PLC have rocketed, nearly doubling. The increase in share value raises the question, are London Stock Exchange PLC stocks undervalued?

Nordea hires Standard & Poor's to provide its stock research

Standard & Poor's has signed a contract with Nordea Bank AB to handle its stock research services in a move that follows a trend of major banks to reduce or eliminate their securities analysis services. Regulatory scrutiny and a decline in trading commissions are cited as reasons for the shift.
