Improved tourism, the development of myriad subcultures, fewer business relocation and changing government policies are factors that have helped London, England, to improve economically. The city seems to be well on its course to be one of the fastest-growing cities in Europe through 2000.

Stable prices and fast growth: just say no

Article Abstract:

Stable prices and fast economic growth should not be the only factors to consider in any discussion of monetary policy by the central banks. Both of those factors are nothing more than slogans designed for politicians to give credence to their miraculous answers for improving the economy.
