London pride

Article Abstract:

There is competition between the different financial centers of Europe, and London, England, is in a strong position, but could still be vulnerable. There are problems with the alliance between London and other European exchanges and London has been slow to adapt in terms of technology and governance. There has also been official indifference, and complaints that there is no official body to look after the interests of the financial community. There is a need for London to be more prepared to accept change and for greater official awareness of the issues involved.
