Loral secures extension in bank credit lines

Loral Space and Communications Ltd. has extended the date that its bank credit lines are scheduled to mature by. The company's new date is 2005 for the maturity of almost $1.1 billion (1.25 billion euros) in bank credit lines.

Loral narrows loss, but satellite unit remains weak

Article Abstract:

Loral Space and Communications Ltd. posted a lower loss for the 2001 first-quarter. The company posted quarterly net losses of $59 million (66.4 million euros), compared to $123 million loss during the same 2000 period.
