Lynton buys Air Hanson

Article Abstract:

The Lynton Group Inc. has bought UK-based Air Hanson Limited from Hanson plc for an undisclosed amount. Air Hanson occupies a facility at Blackbushe Airport of around 18,288-sq-m (60,000-sq-ft). Lynton CEO Christopher Tennat said the transaction will allow Linton to consolidate the group's position in the turbine helicopter field alongside its other UK unit, European Helicopters at Denham, UK. The move, which will strengthen Lynton's fixed-wing operations, is not expected to affect the positions at Air Hanson and European Helicopters.
