Financial decision support with hybrid genetic and neural based modeling tools

Article Abstract:

The design of a financial decision support software was enhanced through the use of genetic and neural based modeling tools, that outperformed its statistical counterpart. The incorporation of genetic and neural modeling tools overcomes the limitation of the statistical modeling tools, since the statistical method relies on linear discriminating procedures and base its assumption on the normality of data.
