Makeovers for aging brands

Article Abstract:

Marketers are conducting a demographic revamp of brands that catered previously to aging baby boomers to give them a youthful appeal. Two companies that are trying to reach out to young consumers are Toyota Motor Co and Polaroid. Polaroid, which has been known to cater to the 45 and up age group, has developed inexpensive and funkier cameras that are also aimed at the younger market.
