Managing the human side of cross-border acquisitons in South Korea

Article Abstract:

The strategies employed by three Western companies in integrating organizational culture and human resources of their target Korean companies are analyzed with regards to the employees' reception. Results showed that employees of the target Korean companies appreciated the changes in organizational culture and human resource management imposed by the acquiring U.S., French, and German firms.
