Mazda to shift production to Europe while cutting capacity in Japan 25%

The article discusses Mazda Motor Corp.'s plans to cut one-quarter of the automaker's manufacturing capacity in Japan and to manufacture 100,000 vehicles annually at a Ford plant in Europe. Mazda predicts it will record a 49.5 billion yen (Euro536 million) group net loss for the year ending March 31, mostly resulting from currency fluctuations.
