The details pertaining to the commercial committee meeting held in Shanghai, China, of the International Fishmeal and Fish Oil Organization, are presented. The focus of the meeting was on the circumstances under which the fishmeal producers managed to keep up to the expectations of customers, and the spectacular fishmeal shipments to China.

New investment being planned in Russia with: massive quota rights savings

Massive quota holders plans to save a $500 million, which will be put into investments as Russia switches from annual auctions to five year fishing rights allocation. Five-year quota shares and the possibility of secondary trading in quota shares will lead to mergers and the concentration of capital in the industry of Russia Far East.

'No more cuts' -beamer owner's plea to EU
