Approximately two dozen monarchs rein in the world, in countries ranging from Japan, to the United Kingdom, to Saudi Arabia, but there are also many claimants to royal thrones throughout the world. Some of the aspiring and exiled monarchs have stubborn followers and enjoy a certain amount of power.

Born in Brittany, France, Richards entered the cooking business at age 14. In 1976 he openly his first US restaurant. Recipes offered for crunchy dishes are lacquered swordfish with green onions, blackberry-fig tart with orange carmel sauce, and tomato tart with basil crust.
