Moody's lowers bond ratings on Nissan Motor

Article Abstract:

Nissan Motor Co.'s long-term debt was downgraded to below investment grade by Moody's Investors Service. However, analysts believe that the downgrading will not setback Nissan's fund-raising capabilities, at least in the short-term. The car maker has made plans to borrow money from banks in Japan rather than by selling bonds to global investors. Nissan's long-term debt was downgraded to Ba1 from Baa3.
