More Bacon

Article Abstract:

Francis Bacon is well known for canvas paintings, but he also worked on paper, and entrusted some works to his neighbor and friend, Barry Joule. The works are being exhibited in Dublin, Ireland, and some works in Joule's collection have been carried out as collaborations, while others may have been produced by artists other than Bacon. The works may be donated to a gallery in Dublin if they are found to be genuine. Bacon's studio is also to be recreated at the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin.
