Experts say Tokyo stocks could benefit if U.S., Japan keep exchange rate stable

Article Abstract:

The US Federal Reserve and Bank of Japan worked together to bring down the dollar to about 91 yen. Japanese economists believe that continued cooperation between the two institutions would stabilize current dollar and yen levels. Japan's GDP for the fourth quarter of 1995 is expected to increase by 0.8%, and by 2.5% in 1996 if the dollar stands at 92 yen by the end of 1995.
