Multiple births persist as doctors buck guidelines

Article Abstract:

In the European Union some in vitro fertilization clinics are implanting more than the recommended three embryos at a time, increasing health risks for both mothers and babies. Reasons include patient demand and competition by the clinics to achieve the highest success rates.
