NOVELL INDIA DEVELOPS NDS FOR SOLARIS

Article Abstract:

Novell Software Development India (NSDI) has developed a directory software for Solaris-Sun Microsystems. The product is called Novell Directory Service (NDS). The product works in the UNIX operating environment. Currently, NSDI is developing the NDS V.8, the next generation of scaleable Internet directory, for Solaris. It is likely to deliver the software by the end of June 1999. (ag)(vr)

SILICON GRAPHICS TARGETS LOW-END PC MARKET

Article Abstract:

Silicon Graphics India (SGI) in collaboration with Intel and Microsoft will enter into low-end personal computer (PC) market in India. SGI will soon launch its initial range of low-end PCs in India during January 1999. The PCs will be offered at a competitive price. The launch will be on Microsoft's Windows NT platform. (gs)
