Nigeria: is it all bad?

Article Abstract:

Nigerian business activities generally have a poor international reputation, being widely regarded as based on fraudulent deals. However, potential international investors in Nigeria should be aware that the country offers many opportunities, and that it may not be wise to wait until civilian rule is re-introduced before investigating these opportunities. Its gross domestic product is already the second largest in sub-Saharan Africa, and economic growth is expected to rise to 3% in 1997-1998.
