PENTAFOUR BAGS DIGITAL ANIMATION CONTRACT FOR US MOTION PICTURE

Pentafour Software and Exports Ltd of Chennai has won a contract to provide the entire digital animation content for a motion picture being made in the US. The company says that it would involve working for about one lakh man-hours, for which it would charge $70-100 per hour. This contract is a part of the alliance with Cyber Arrow Technologies, a subsidiary of New Media Venture Partners Inc of the US. The alliance aims to provide multimedia products to clients in the US, Canada and Latin America. (khr)

DELPHI GETS INTO MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION BUSINESS

Delphi High Tech Consultants has entered the medical transcription business. It has already received a major order from an US-based company along with Essargi Protek Software Solutions. The two companies will soon be coming out with a pilot project for the US client. They have contracted pharmacologists and doctors to assist in the training programme for the pilot project. Over 300 trained transcriptionists are to be hired for the medical transcription project. (khr)
