Procter & Gamble is changing the name of skin care product "Oil of Olay" to simply "Olay." The company hopes this will make the 50-year-old brand more appealing to today's young women who equate the word "oil" with "grease."

Former P&G boss got $9.5 million in severance pay

Durk Jager, the recently resigned chief executive officer of Procter and Gamble Co., was given a severance package worth $9.5 million (10.5 million euros). Jager was Procter and Gamble's CEO for 17 months.

P&G considers eliminating 10% to 20% of its work force
