Other documents include ADF: Means of Ventilation, and Energy Performance in Buildings Directive, which sets an energy rating for all buildings placed in a visible location.

The Approved Document Part L is a revised second-tier upgrade that will be updated automatically in case of advance in one area of energy efficiency.
