Patient money brings returns

Article Abstract:

Private-equity companies are venture capital firms that provide capital to unlisted high-tech ventures in exchange for equity. Some of these venture capital firms are also publicly-traded, permitting smaller investors an opportunity to invest in the private-equity market through the purchase of their stocks. Two private-equity companies that are listed on the Swiss Exchange are New VentureTec and Castle Private Equity. These venture capital firms invest directly and indirectly in privately-held high-tech firms in Europe and the US.
