John Hansard Gallery (Southampton, England) is presently showing the photography work of Andrew Cross and Dan Holdsworth. Both photographers are interested in the unpeopled "backstage" sections of the architectural landscape. The photographs were taken in various areas of the world including the U.K.

Article Abstract:

The RIBA is showing schemes from a Designs on Democracy competition set up by the Institute for Public Policy Research. The effort was a challenge for architects because they are used to build real representations instead of philosophical representations.
