Persistent superior economic performance, sustainable competitive advantage, and Schumpeterian innovation: leading established computer firms, 1954-2000

Article Abstract:

A conceptual framework, which relates persistent superior economic performance, sustainable competitive advantage and Schumpeterian innovations, is proposed. The framework suggested that the effect of the Schumpeterian innovation on sustainable competitive advantage produced positive and negative persistent superior performance. The results of the study of the Fortune Global 500 computer firms reported that many firms achieved persistent superior economic performance under the Schumpeterian innovations.

The international relocation of corporate centres: are corporate centres sticky?

Article Abstract:

A conceptual framework to explain the determinants of corporate center location is proposed. The analysis predicts the less stickiness of corporate centers of European Union-based corporations due to European Union integration process triggered by the expected EU legislation regarding removal of legal barriers against corporate mobility.

Gaining competitive advantage in a carbon constrained world: strategies for European business

Article Abstract:

A case on the need of companies viewing carbon exposure as key factor in future corporate competitiveness, rather than an environmental compliance issue is presented. The strategies for corporate managers to avoid the risk and to acquire a competitive advantage in this environment issues are also provided.
