Phare horizons

Article Abstract:

There are grants and contracts available for United Kingdom companies that provide expertise in eastern Europe. The British Know-How Fund (KHF) is the UK program for technical aid for the former Soviet Union and eastern and central Europe. Te KHF is reportedly unbureaucratic and helpful. The European Union (EU) Phare program also provides help for eastern Europe, and the EU Technical Assistance to the Commonwealth of Independent States (TACIS) program also benefits from EU funding.
