A self-winding eco-pitch

Article Abstract:

Both Societe Suisse de Microelectronique et d'Horlogerie S.A. (SMH) and Gruen Marketing Group are marketing wristwatches that have a tie-in to environmental protection. SMH is marketing a special commemorative Swatch for the Jun 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development meeting that will be held in Rio de Janeiro. Gruen is marketing Audubon Society watches that feature endangered animals. Timex Corp is not involved in green marketing but has instead concentrated on switching from plastic to recycled cardboard packaging.
