Preparation for integration

Article Abstract:

Zamilk (Chocen, Czech Republic), milk products firm, should commission a distribution warehouse in November 1999. The firm is building the warehouse at a cost of 33 mil Kc. The new warehouse will enable the firm to extend production and will also be a re-distribution centre for goods from other regions. The setting up of a quality logistic base is a part of the company's preparation for entrance to the European Union. Zamilk sells 90% of its production directly on the domestic market. The rest of the firm's sales is ensured by Meggle.

Learning culture as a mediator of the influence of an individual's knowledge on market orientaion

Article Abstract:

The paper explores the relative importance and significance of employee bahaviors on learning culture, and their impacts on market orientation by means of an empirical investigation of 269 Small Medium Enterprises in the Spanish optometry sector and telecommunications sector. The customer-oriented behaviors of employees contribute to the company's learning culture to move from an existing position to a sought after position of market orientation.
