Article Abstract:

A journalist's encounters with various celebrities are described. He recounts his last celebrity encounter with the Queen of Jordan, in 1987, who was an architect and the wife of a king and also an ambassador from the Arab world to a homeland that was not noted for its sympathy with Arab causes.
