Preussag's net climbs 42%, buoyed by core business

The largest tour operator in Europe, Preussag AG, announced that its net income increased 42% in the first half, showing strong consumer spending on travel. Profit from the company's tourism division went up 33% to Euro76 million in the half, versus the previous year.
