Product ethnicity: revisiting the match between products and countries

Article Abstract:

A survey of consumers from six different countries was used to study the influence of product ethnicity on consumer preferences. The results show that consumers prefer products from countries with which the products are associated. The significance of product ethinicty despite globalization is discussed.

Guanxi, trust, and long-term orientation in Chinese business markets

Article Abstract:

The Chinese concept of Guanxi is studied with respect to business relationships. The study focuses on a buying firms' trust in a supplier's salesperson and reveals that such a trust is determined on the characteristics of the salesperson.
