SUBEX SYSTEMS TO SET UP US SUBSIDIARY

Subex Systems of Bangalore plans to set up a subsidiary in the US in 1999-2000. The Subex group, which operates in telecom software and cellular telephony accessories, has decided to raise Rs19 crore through venture capital and debt to finance its growth in India and overseas. One of the main activities of the US subsidiary will be to market Ranger, the company's recently launched cellular fraud management solution. (khr)
