Sam Electronics of Den Oever has developed an ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aid) radar that has 15 and 28 inch TFT screen that helps to track other ships for the full range of the set and is designed for AIS (Automatic Identification System). The set's extra ARPA capability was introduced after recognizing the needs of the fishermen.
