Real time trawl monitoring

Article Abstract:

Wesmar of Seattle has introduced new TCS 335 mini trawl sonar that has been designed to deliver real time monitoring of the whole net in a compact package. The most important features of traditional trawl sonar have been fitted into a head rope unit at least 50% smaller than similar devices. The system allows a 360degree picture of the net mouth, the bottom, plus fish in and around the net.
