Reality rules

Article Abstract:

Unilever NV's television advertisements for its becel brand used a hyper- realistic Danish cinema technique, called Dogme 95, to project a sense of truth and credibility in the campaign. Developed by Danish film directors Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg, the technique is an austere, avant- garde, film style that is so authentic. The campaign, which was created by Toronto-based Ogilvy and Mather Canada, is being considered by Unilever for international use.
