Retailer's boutiques succeed in Singapore

Article Abstract:

FJ Benjamin is a Singaporean retailer which runs 76 boutiques and is succeeding exceedingly well in a market that has experienced depressing losses because of high rents, decreasing tourist spending and lack of interest among domestic consumers. The company believes that its success lies in its ability to find a niche market where high-profile trademarks are popular. It plans to offer its stocks to the public once the country's stock market recovers.
