Rock plans cross-department groups for a broader view..

Article Abstract:

David Rock, RIBA president, is planning to reorganise the institute by creating four new lateral theme groups, based on environmental, consumer and client, cultural and international affairs. Rock believes that the new matrix will expand across existing vertical departments and allow a more enlightened view of the contribution made by each department. Rock is also planning to seek approval for a new policy management board.
