Russia's crisis isn't over

Article Abstract:

Russia has promised the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to cut government spending, and also faces workers' strikes, while tycoons are demanding political power in exchange for cooperation on the economy. The government has been hit by a drop in petroleum prices which has reduced foreign earnings. Reformers are more strongly represented in the government than they have been since 1992 but the government could collapse if there is no help from the IMF or other external sources.
