Singapore Technologies Industrial Inc. (STIC) is a group composed of infrastructure, information technology and leisure companies. STIC has a proven track record for developing industrial parks in the Asian region. Its long-term goals include the establishment of an electronic road-pricing system and the construction of a light-rail system in Singapore. Given STIC's proven management and development performance, the company is ideal vehicle for foreign investors to enter the Singaporean market.

It may be time to sell off property shares in colony

Several real estate developers such as Sung Hung Kai Properties and Citic Pacific have issued large stock offerings in Hong Kong to generate funds for their future development plans. Some investors perceive the recent spate of real estate stock offerings as a sign to sell their Hong Kong property stocks for profit. However, stock analysts expressed varying views on the prospects for Hong Kong property stocks.

Hong Kong revs up for more cash calls

Article Abstract:

Henderson Land Development has led other Hong Kong-based firms in engaged in cash calls in the stock market. The company, which is a real estate developer, had sold shares equal to HK$2.2 billion in Dec. 1995 and another HK$3.5 billion in Sep. 1996. Henderson's earlier placement effort gave other companies the signal to do likewise, among which were Citic Pacific and Sun Hung Kai Properties.
