Sema is optimistic after 35% profit gain

Article Abstract:

Sema Group PLC posted an improvement of 35% in its profits for the first-half of 1999. The company also said that it is expecting to see strong growth for the rest of the 1999 year. Sema is a computer services firm. The company posted 38.5 million pound sterling (58.36 million euros) in pretax profits for the period. Sema's sales increased 25% to 669 million pound sterling.

EDS Chief sees brighter skies

Chief Executive Officer Michael H. Jordan, Electronic Data Systems Corp. of the United States came out of retirement three years ago to turn the company around. Finances have been straightened out and although a challenge, the company is seeing the light. The information technology services company posted third quarter net income of $8 million.

Atos reports margins improve, net debt falls to 440 million euros

Article Abstract:

Atos Origin S.A. posted a 42% increase in its 2002 net profits. The company also said that its yearly debt fell to 440 million euros from 656 million euros in June 2002.
