Sempra to sell Argentina assets

Article Abstract:

Sempra Energy of the United States is looking for buyers for its 37 percent stake in Camuzzi Gas Pampeana S.A. of Argentina and 39 percent stake in Camuzzi Gas del Sur S.A. also of Argentina. The gas and electricity company is responding to the political and economic tailspin in Argentina. Sempra Energy is consolidating to concentrate on growing its natural gas infrastructure.

OMV's Iran ties may slow its expansion strategy

Article Abstract:

Austrian gas company OMV AG faces possible US sanctions due to its Iranian investments. OMV, already drilling for both gas and oil in the country, has antagonized US officials by signing a $18 bil gas agreement with Iran. Potential sanctions include a ban on borrowing from US financial companies by OMV.
