Chinese deal with Europe is clear message to U.S

Article Abstract:

Analysts believe that China's recent announcement of plans to build a commercial jet with French aircraft manufacturer Aerospatiale sends a clear warning to the US of the economic consequences of its continued interference with China's domestic policies. Although the deal has not been finalized, the announcement gives Aerospatiale an edge over US firms Boeing Co. and McDonnell Douglas Corp. which are also bidders for the said project.
