Article Abstract:

Railroads continue to have a significant impact on the economic and physical landscapes of North America. Some 40% of all freight shipments in the US go by rail, and the rail network remains the foundation of the US economy. Railroads tend to be exposed and accessible, in contrast with Europe, where efforts were made to disguise the impact of railroads on the environment. The geometry of many US cities is still configured around a railroad line passing directly through their centre.

The instructions for four salad classics and three vinaigrettes are given. The four are Salade Francais, Insalata Italiano, Florentine Salad and New Caesar Salad while. The three dressings are tomato-basil vinaigrette, orange vinaigrette and lemon-Dijon vinaigrette.
