Siemens sells noncore unit MPM to U.K.'s Apax

Siemens AG announced that its Mannesmann Atecs subsidiary sold its Mannesmann Plastics Machinery AG unit to Apax Partners and Co., a UK investment group, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition is estimated to be worth Euro800 million.
