Sipox Holding wants to save the former Liaz
Article Abstract:
Liaz Sipox (LS) (Mnichovo Hradiste, Czech Republic), automotive company, should go on producing lorries of the make Liaz from 2001. LS, joint venture between Skoda Plzen (Plzen, Czech Republic) and Sipox Holding (Slovakia), will be set up at the end of 2000. A reason is the rescue of the former lorry company Liaz (Czech Republic). SH plans to invest about CEK 500 mil in LS during 2001.

ZDB wants to do arrangement with creditors within a court
Article Abstract:
ZDB (Bohumin, Czech Republic), iron and wire company, will be able to do court arrangement with more than 1,000 creditors at the beginning of 2001. ZDB has a total debt of CEK 2.65 bil towards the creditors. The creditors have to apply for their receivables by Jan 2001. They will vote on the agreement of the settlement at the end of Jan 2001.
