Smoza increased its profit in 2000

Smoza (Hranice, Czech Republic), chancery and squared paper supplier, increased its gross profit to CEK 40 mil in 2000 compared to CEK 10 mil in 1999. The firm is the third largest wholesaler in the Czech Republic after Ospap (Czech Republic) and Europap (Czech Republic). It has 103 employees. Since 1997 Smoza has had a majority stake held by Arjo Wiggins Appleton (UK), now Antalis.

Vinium sees profit

Article Abstract:

Vinium (Velke Pavlovice, Czech Republic), wine producer, saw a preliminary profit of CEK 31.5 mil in 2000 compared to a loss of more than CEK 30 mil in 1999. The company's proceeds exceeded CEK 308 mil in 2000, about CEK 100 mil more compared to 1999.
