Solving the multiobjective possibilistic linear programming problem

Article Abstract:

A new pareto optimal solution concept was proposed to address fuzzy multiobjective programming problems. The concept, which was based on the extension principle and the joint possibility distribution of the problem's fuzzy parameters, depends on the alpha-cuts of the fuzzy solution to produce its possibility distributions. Its use leads to infinite fuzzy solutions of the multiobjective linear programming problem involving fuzzy parameters (FP-MOLP) since it takes into account fuzzy solution that is built from another pareto optimal solution of the MOLP.

Fuzzy linear programming and applications

Article Abstract:

A review of techniques for the solution of fuzzy linear programs uncovers potential techniques for lessening fuzzy linear programs arising from crisp systems. However, choosing the most effective approach involves analyzing the various theories delineated in the methodology. This assessment is then paralleled with the problems encountered in the existing program. Generally, the process is governed by both internal and external factors so as arrive at the soundest and most fool-proof solution.
