South Africa's bottom line

The promise of a general election including all races was threatened after the Concerned South Africans Group dissented. The delegation includes the Inkatha Freedom Party and Afrikaner Conservative Party, and they fear that a constitution-making body would reject federalism in South Africa.

South Africa's ray of light

Article Abstract:

A constitutional draft was issued by the African National Congress and the National Party. A permanent draft will be created in two years by a governmental body made up of a senate and a national assembly. The features of the constitution are discussed.
