Stimulating innovation through corporate venture bases

Article Abstract:

Concrete actions to promote and improve innovations within corporates through venture bases are listed. The study draws heavily from interviews conducted with managers of corporate venturing departments at six Danish multinational companies, between 2000 and 2002.

Career paths of the elite of former GDR combinates during the postsocialist transformation process

Article Abstract:

This paper shows that in nearly 300 cases, most of the former executives of large conglomerates in the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany) where highly successful in transitioning into positions with business after the collapse of the GDR.

Is globalization what it's cracked up to be? Economic freedom, corruption, and human development

The effects of globalization on human development are studied. The results suggest positive effects on economic freedom and negative effects on corruption.
